Page Mill Winery got its start in 1975 at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Clara County at the home of Dick and Ome Stark. By the early 2000s, the Stark family realized it had to move its operations, and after a statewide search, chose the Livermore Valley. Son Dane Stark supervises the entire harvesting and winemaking process, using high quality grapes from Page Mill’s own vineyard, as well as other trusted California growers.
Wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Petit Sirah, Port, sparkling wine.
Tasting Room: Thursday-Monday, 12-4:30 p.m.
The tasting room is located not far from the downtown shopping district. Reservations are required for groups of eight or more. Group and private tastings are available by reservation three weeks in advance. |
