About: AuburnJames produces small lots of handcrafted Bordeaux style wines from the Napa Valley. The winery makes approximately 3,500 cases of wine annually, but most of its varietals and blends do not exceed 400 cases. Wines are available through the AuburnJames Wine Club, online, and at the Danville tasting room.
Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Meritage, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Viognier.
Tasting Room: Open Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-8 p.m., Thursday–Saturday, 12-8 p.m., Sunday, 12-5 p.m.
The tasting room offers wine tasting and pairings with gourmet meats and cheeses. Guests are surrounded by art created by local, national, and internationally known artists. There’s live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The room is available for events. |
